Traveling Installation TESSERACT (Aka HYPER-Cube)

TESSERACT (aka HYPER-Cube) is a traveling installation created by 1024 Architecture in 2013.

It refers to the geometric and mathematical object Tesseract, reinterpreted in real life with the configuration of a mobile 3D light network. The installation is a sculptural cube equipped with moving lights, where the public is invited to enter. A three-dimensional light network mounted within an open scaffolding structure can rotate in all directions. Within the cube’s form, the projectors evoke a futuristic world. The installation is in fact no longer sculpture but movement itself: a constantly evolving state of form and space of which the viewer is a part.
