Cité Universitaire de Paris, 2018
In collaboration with French designer Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s artistic director, Nike Lab launched a fashion collection inspired by football and France, created to leverage and capitalize on EuroCup’16.
For the occasion, the Volontiers agency produced and designed a large-scale show. The Chateau de la Cité Universitaire de Paris was utilized to host the many guests around a cocktail reception, where they could discover the brand’s footballing past. The doors then opened to the outside, revealing an impressive 30-meter diameter dome, erected for the occasion.
Inside, a 360° mapping served as a backdrop for a show presenting the collection. Meticulously planned, this show combined models moving around a pyramidal structure and dancers whose movements interacted with the projected images. From a golden DJ booth, perched atop the pyramid, A-Chal and several renowned DJs performed live until the end of the night.
